I was skimming the news paper today and found this article about the "Terrible Twos" and the bad news is that it only gets worse when they are three. Ugh! Why doesn't anyone warn us?? Is this a sick joke?
But the light at the end of the tunnel is that once they get to 4-5 years old it is smooth sailing for a few years!

Yeah, no one mentioned that my 2 year old would act like a 16 year old either...And to think I want more...I really am an idiot! lol
Don't count on it being smooth sailing at 4-5. Although its not as hard as 2-3. The attitude is just directed differently. Oh and since you have a girl, at 8 years old it becomes more and more attitude(almost like PMS). I just can't wait to see how my daughter is at 13. No wonder I am going gray.
